As dentists, it is important to reach our patients where they’re at. While our patients might not be actively searching for temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD), it is our job to share signs and symptoms that might trigger their need to seek care. Patients who experience jaw pain or find it difficult to eat their favorite foods will find this information helpful.

We know it can be frustrating and difficult to complete daily tasks when their jaw hurts, but it is important to let them know that we can help. Take a look at the infographic below to share with your patients some of the signs and symptoms of TMD. Feel free to share this at your office or post on social media to increase your reach to patients who might be unaware of TMD as a cause for pain.
