It seems like this will be a great summer for dentists to learn more about temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD) and dental sleep medicine. As we continue to navigate our way out of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important that we keep moving and completing continuing education to further help our patients. One area that continues to remain important is how to implement TMD and dental sleep medicine services into your practice.

Well, you’re in luck because we have another TMD and dental sleep medicine program for you to join in the later part of 2022!

When are the sessions?

Mayoor Patel, DDS, and Terry Bennett, DMD, will be leading the next four sessions of our TMD and dental sleep medicine program for this year. If you miss this program, you might have to wait until 2023 for another opportunity, so sign up soon!

Here are the dates of the program:

  • Session 1: August 26-27.
  • Session 2: September 23-24.
  • Session 3: November 4-5.
  • Session 4: December 2-3.

Each session will take place in Atlanta, Georgia.

It’s a hybrid approach

Ben-Pat Institute is taking a new approach to providing continuing dental education to dentists and their teams across the country. Through a hybrid approach, our program allows for flexibility, convenience and travel cost savings.

That means there are three ways to attend:

  1. Live. The first option is to attend all sessions in a live setting. This is because many dentists feel that being there in person is the best learning experience possible.
  2. Hybrid. It includes two sessions that are virtual and interactive and two sessions that are in-person. This means you can get the lectures and learn from the comfort of your own home, and still participate in both the TMD and sleep hands-on portion of the course at the in-person sessions.
  3. All virtual. Attending all four sessions virtually from the comfort of your own home may be a more convenient and cost effective option for some dentists. Unfortunately, though, you won’t be able to participate in the hands-on learning portion of the sessions. However, you will have access to a live video feed when these exercises are explained and performed.

We hope to see you there! Sign up today before spaces fill up.
